Description
The Department of Radiology at our Level 1 Academic Trauma Center, in affiliation with both the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and Regional One Health (ROH), invites applications for a full-time board-certified or board-eligible Interventional Radiologist. We offer a collegial atmosphere, a competitive salary, and a unique work schedule to promote work-life balance.
Our team includes a total of 3 vascular IRs, and 1 PA providing both inpatient and outpatient care at the level 1 trauma hospital which includes a robust high-risk obstetrics referral department. The position is 100% based at ROH Hospital.
The typical schedule is 1 week days, 1 week nights with day backup, and 1 week off, totallying 17 weeks vacation per year, providing a unique work life balance! It is a single site coverage at the heart of Memphis. The job entails reading vascular ultrasound studies during night week. A dedicated home work station is provided for this. There is also an option of doing Diagnostic moonlighting shifts for additional compensation.
We have a state-of-the-art Biplane Siemens Angio suite and a Toshiba Biplane room, to support a full practice including chemoembolization, radioembolization, Delcath procedure, percutaneous ablation, prostate and uterine artery embolization, PE/DVT, portal hypertension intervention, kyphoplasty, GI/GU interventions, and the full breadth of “bread and butter” interventions.
