Santa Barbara Radiology Medical Group is seeking a fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist to join our private practice due to planned retirement of a senior partner. Serving Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, a 519-bed acute care teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center. our group provides comprehensive IR and DR services and is actively involved in the education of residents through a Diagnostic Radiology Residency and ESIR program.

Primarily IR focused and no diagnostic commitment when covering IR. Variable diagnostic duties performed for higher compensation.
Clinical Expectations: The ideal candidate would have at least 1-2 year of post training experience but all will be considered. Should be proficient across the full spectrum of interventional radiology, including:
Interventional Oncology
Percutaneous tumor ablation Y-90 radioembolization/TACE Active participation in our expanding histotripsy program
Trauma & Acute Care IR
Trauma embolization and hemorrhage control in a Level I Trauma Center
Advanced Vascular & Embolization Work
Bronchial artery embolization (BAE) Prostate artery embolization (PAE) Uterine artery embolization (UAE) Pulmonary and deep venous thrombectomy TIPS and BRTO
General IR
Image-guided biopsies Abscess drainage and percutaneous catheter interventions Nephrostomy and urologic procedures Kyphoplasty/vertebral augmentation
