Description:                We are one of the most active private practice Interventional Radiology groups in the country. Join four (5) FT Physician Assistants, one (1) PT Physician Assistant,  two APRN, and twelve (12) sub-specialized Interventional Radiologists in a hospital-based group located in the Tampa Bay area. We are well-integrated into a busy hospital system performing many procedures daily using advanced imaging guidance techniques to perform body and neuro interventional procedures. We also conduct multiple consultations daily, see clinic patients, and maintain our own service with admissions. Although busy, the hospital has a convivial work environment. We cover a total of five (4) hospitals of which the physician assistant’s cover four (4) of them at this time.

  The position includes:

Ø  Performing procedures such as ultrasound and fluoroscopically guided Venous lines, Dialysis access, and Ports, Gastrostomy Tubes, Biopsies, Drainages, Chest Tubes, and others.

Ø  Rounding on patients, inpatient management, discharges, frequent use of hospital EMR.

Ø  Inpatient consultations.

Ø  Assisting with outpatient consultations and follow ups.

Ø  There is a limited weekend obligation, one every five weeks, which is compensated.

Ø  There are no after hour call responsibilities.

Standard basic requirements apply, i.e. PA accreditation, Florida License (assistance with Florida License available), and an interest and experience in procedurally-based specialty care. Health Plan, retirement, and bonus are of course also offered. Pay scale is commensurate with experience in Interventional Radiology and general experience.
