Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled IR/Cath Lab RN to join Providence Alaska Medical Center. The nurse will provide care in the interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization labs, supporting EP and IR procedures. The role includes on-call coverage, floating as needed within scope, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
\n

• Provide direct patient care in IR and Cath Lab settings
\n
• Float to EP or IR as needed
\n
• Participate in on-call schedule (1 day per week and 4th/5th weekend: Fri 1800 - Mon 0730)
\n
• Utilize specialized equipment including Impella, balloon pump, laser, rotablater, shockwave, and CSI
\n
• Document care accurately using Epic
\n
• Adhere to facility protocols, patient safety standards, and quality initiatives
\n

Required Qualifications & Skills:
\n

\n
• Must have AK RN license in hand for Auto Offer
\n
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
\n
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in IR/Cath Lab nursing
\n
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
\n
• Must meet all required skills and experience for screening
\n

Rate: USD $10,000 to $151,000

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Registered Nurse Alaska state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Registered Nurse program
• One year of work experience as Registered Nurse
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified
