The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Department of Radiology is recruiting a full-time Pediatric Vascular Interventional Radiologist to join our nationally recognized academic medical center. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to be part of a collaborative and mission-driven team while contributing to the design and development of a groundbreaking, free-standing children’s hospital.
About the Role:
Based at UNC Medical Center, the successful candidate will deliver advanced image-guided care across a wide spectrum of vascular and non-vascular pediatric interventions, including:
- Vascular malformations
- Oncologic procedures
- Transplant interventions
- Biopsies, drainages, and vascular access
This individual will also play a foundational role in shaping the interventional service line at the future North Carolina Children’s Hospital, a visionary, 400-bed, state-of-the-art facility scheduled to open in the early 2030s. Designed as a joint pediatric hub for UNC and Duke, the hospital will be the first of its kind in the state, with dedicated space for interventional radiology and pediatric innovation.
