On-Site Community Hospital-Based IR Position, Both Bread and Butter and High-End IR Cases, 2 years to Partnership, $900k+ Potential, 12 weeks off
Job Description
Work in a collegial community hospital environment. This is a partnership track position with the Lubbock, TX pod of Radiology Associates of North Texas, coming open due to increased volumes. The schedule averages 3 weeks on and 1 week off (~ 12 weeks off per year). Call is shared and light with incentive pay. Two-year partnership track. Then transitions immediately to a full partner with all associated compensation and benefits. 2023 partner pay was $900,000. Workload is approximately 50% interventional and 50% diagnostic. IR cases consist of biopsies, drains, venous work, kyphoplasties, embolizations, thrombectomies, Y-90s, and TIPS. A dedicated IR midlevel handles minor procedures and consultants. The hospital is supportive and relationships with referrers including oncology, gastroenterology, urology, surgery and others are strong, established, and collegial. Growth potential is excellent. Practicing IRs and trainees are invited to apply.
