Position Description
The University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville is recruiting one ESIR and one NonESIR Interventional Radiology Independent resident for the 2026–2027 academic year. Our ACGMEaccredited program provides comprehensive, highvolume training at a major academic medical center and Level I trauma center serving Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia.
Residents gain extensive experience across the full spectrum of interventional radiology, including:
- Vascular and nonvascular interventions
- Interventional oncology
- Trauma and emergency IR
- Hepatobiliary and portal venous procedures
- Advanced imageguided interventions
- Longitudinal clinic and continuity of care
- Multidisciplinary conferences and tumor boards
- Teaching responsibilities for medical students and DR residents
- Scholarly activity, including QI and research

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
- Completion of an ACGMEaccredited DR residency
- ESIR applicants must have completed an ACGMEapproved ESIR pathway
- Eligible for Florida medical licensure
Compensation
Annual stipend: $81,000
