Description
This is a 0.7 FTE, hospital-employed 100% Interventional Radiology position. There are no diagnostic responsibilities. You will love our 7-on / 14-off schedule and the chance to partner with us in growing our program to serve the patients of southwestern Montana and beyond. This is a rare opportunity to join an IR-only practice that still enjoys both routine and advanced IR work, including PAD/CLI, TIPS/hepatobiliary, Y90 TARE, tumor ablation, pulmonary thrombectomy, acute/chronic DVT work, prostate and uterine fibroid embolization, GAE, etc.
Practice & Clinical Scope
100% Interventional Radiology practice
Full spectrum IR procedures in a high-volume environment
Average volume of approximately 6-10 procedures per physician per day
Overall case mix is 60% outpatient / 30% inpatient / 10% emergent
Two dedicated IR suites, including a Philips room with cone beam CT, a Siemens floor mounted room, ultrasound, and CT-fluoro

Bozeman Health Deaconess Regional Medical Center in Bozeman is a DNV-accredited Level III trauma center with 154 licensed beds, a 20-bed critical care unit, operating rooms, and a 24/7 emergency and trauma department. Its Family Birth Center also includes Southwest Montana’s first neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
Clinical Growth and Innovation
Bozeman Health has expanded clinical services in recent years, including pediatric orthopedics, a Spine + Joint Institute, and urogynecology. The system opened a new adult inpatient psychiatric unit in 2025 and continues to build additional specialty service lines, including gynecologic oncology, and a Neurosurgery and Spine clinic.

Requirements
Preferred
Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
Comfortable practicing the full spectrum of IR in a busy hospital setting
At least 1-2 years of post-graduate experience preferred
Interest in contributing to continued program growth and coverage
