INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGIST

The Department of Radiology at the University of Florida is actively recruiting to fill one full-time, non-tenure clinical track position for an Interventional Radiologist at the rank of Clinical Assistant/Associate/Professor. Candidates must, at the time of application: 1) be a M.D./D.O., 2) Board Certified or Eligible in Radiology, 3) have completed an ACGME accredited Vascular and Interventional Radiology Fellowship or have completed an ACGME accredited IR/DR Residency, 4) have a current medical license in the State of Florida or have applied for one. Candidates must also obtain their IR/DR certification within one year of their start date.
Starting salary is commensurate with experience. Responsibilities include patient care, research and the teaching of house staff and medical students. An interest in research is preferable but not required.
The candidate must have experience and a competency in the following procedures: Y90 (glass), DEB-TACE, UAE, percutaneous ablations, TIPS and other portal interventions, pulmonary/bronchial angiography and embolization, PTHD and other biliary interventions, percutaneous nephrostomies, fistulagrams and declots, vertebral augmentation, spine and pain intervention, sclerotherapy, trauma interventions and arterial/venous/portal/pulmonary thrombolysis in addition to basic procedures. The applicant should have interest in emerging procedures and bringing those into group practice.
