Kettering Network Radiologists, Inc., (KNRI) is a private 100% physician owned and managed practice and fully committed to remaining independent. Our growing practice includes 50 Radiologists (7 IR), 3 Nuclear Medicine Physicians, 8 Physician Assistants and 8 Radiology Residents covering the Kettering Health Network (KHN) comprised of 8 hospitals (119 bed- 500 beds), 20 associated KHN outpatient centers, 11 emergency departments and 4 trauma centers, and several independent imaging centers. 

KNRI is recruiting Interventional Radiologists based on growth and expansion opportunities for existing and future state-of-the-art imaging locations, as well as planning for future retirements. 

Our practice provides a wide array of inpatient and outpatient interventional procedures for multiple facilities including, but not limited to, interventional oncology, vertebral augmentation, endoleak repair, TIPS, ablations, embolizations, venous intervention, central venous access including implanted ports, peripheral vascular disease, biopsies, biliary interventions, uterine fibroid embolizations and urinary procedures. The IR suites at our largest facility are currently being updated to include three biplane suites that are shared between IR and neurointerventional.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, Board-certified and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
  • Fellowship Trained Interventional Radiologist, current IR fellows are encouraged to apply
  • Be comfortable with all aspects of diagnostic radiology including body and basic interventional work
  • A proven track record of outstanding interpersonal and communication skills is expected


POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Full-time partnership track position with competitive
  • Interventional shifts will be spread across Kettering Health Network facilities surrounding Dayton, OH. We expect at least 50% - 70% of the role to be interventional.
  • Participate in Interventional Oncology service using microwave ablation, chemoembolization, and radioembolization practice with referrals from around the region.
  • Take part in the General Radiology reads, excluding mammo and nuclear medicine.
  • Interventional call is shared equally with a monthly stipend provided. Call shifts are scheduled one week at a time with a built-in 5p-12a (diagnostic/interventional) shift. This allows time for recovery from 8 am to 5 pm on most days if overnight emergent procedures occur.
  • Teaching opportunities are available with our Diagnostic Radiology Residency program.
  • Position is supported by 8 PAs who perform minor procedures, round, and see clinic follow-ups and assist with initial consults.
