POSITION SUMMARY

Empire State Radiology is seeking a BE/BC Interventional Radiologist in Middletown, New York. In addition to IR, the ideal candidate will interpret general diagnostic studies between procedures.

Garnet Health Medical Center hosts an advanced Interventional Radiology service line, staffed by board-certified interventional radiologists trained in minimally invasive therapies. The IR department offers:

• A wide range of image-guided procedures, including treatments for peripheral vascular disease, cancer, uterine fibroids, biliary and urologic conditions, and other complex diseases.
• Immediate image availability through a secure PACS system for rapid diagnosis and streamlined workflow with referring clinicians.
• Patient-centered care, emphasizing individualized treatment planning and education.

This strong IR infrastructure provides support for multidisciplinary care and expanded procedure-driven opportunities within the practice.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monday - Friday, Day Shift Schedule (215 annual shifts)
• Heavy procedural location, offering roughly 80% IR
• IR Call Q4
• Access to ablation Procedures, Angiography, Arterial Vascular Therapeutic, Embolization, GI Interventions, GU Interventions, Surgical Type Procedures, Venous Catheter Procedures, Venous Vascular Access Procedures, Abscess Drainage, Arthrograms, Lumbar Puncture, Myelograms, Paracentesis, PICC Lines, Superficial Biopsies, Thoracentesis, Thoracentesis, Thyroid Biopsies
• Rely on highly experienced technologists and state-of-the-art equipment
• Enjoy efficient, collaborative workflow supported by a robust clinical infrastructure
• Completion of Diagnostic Radiology residency from an ACGME-accredited U.S. program
• Board eligible or Certified by ABR or ABOR & CAQ for Interventional Radiology required
• Licensed or eligible for New York State medical licensure

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Residency training in Diagnostic Radiology from an ACGME accredited U.S. training program
• Fellows in training are welcome to apply
• Board eligible or certified by American Board of Radiology (ABR) or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (ABOR)
• CAQ for Interventional Radiology required
• Licensed or the ability to obtain a license in the state of New York

COMPENSATION:

The salary range for this position is $500,000-$525,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
