POSITION SUMMARY
Greensboro Radiology is seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist to join our highly subspecialized private practice in central North Carolina. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple hospitals and outpatient centers, providing a broad, high-acuity IR case mix that includes:
- Biopsies, drains, venous access
- Venous and pulmonary thrombolysis/thrombectomy
- IVC filter placement and retrieval
- Peripheral arteriography with occasional interventions
- Mesenteric stenting
- Biliary interventions
- Nephrostomy and gastrostomy tube placements
- Spine injections
- TIPS, BRTO
- TACE, Y-90
- Ablation procedures
- And many additional advanced IR services

HOSPITAL OVERVIEW
Our IR team provides services across several respected regional hospitals, including:
- Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital – 500+ bed tertiary care center, Level II Trauma Center, certified stroke center
- Wesley Long Hospital – 175-bed facility offering comprehensive medical and surgical services
- Alamance Regional Medical Center – 200+ bed community hospital and designated stroke center
- Annie Penn Hospital – 110 bed community hospital
We also support multiple outpatient imaging and procedural centers, ensuring broad access to high-quality care across the region. These facilities are recognized for clinical excellence, advanced technology, and strong physician collaboration.

Requirements
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- MD or DO Degree
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency
- One-year fellowship in Interventional Radiology
- ABR or AOBR board-certified or board-eligible
- Eligibility for North Carolina medical licensure (preferred)
COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this position is $550,000-$700,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
