- Faculty Position: Interventional Radiologist (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor)
Description
The Department of Radiology at the Keck School of Medicine of USC seeks an exceptional Interventional Radiologist for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, based on experience and qualifications. This is an exciting opportunity to practice the full spectrum of Interventional Radiology (IR) in a collaborative academic setting.
About the Role
The Division of Interventional Radiology at the University of Southern California is a leader in comprehensive IR services, performing a wide range of procedures, including:
- Portal vein interventions (TIPS, DIPS, BRTO/PARTO)
- Deep venous interventions (complex recanalizations, mechanical thrombectomy, venous stenting)
- Interventional oncology (Y90 radioembolization, transarterial chemoembolization, percutaneous ablations, novel image-guided therapies)
- Lymphatic interventions (lymphangiography, thoracic duct embolization, advanced decompression techniques)
- Arterial interventions (embolizations, angioplasty, and stenting)
- Transplant interventions (hepatobiliary interventions, organ preservation techniques)
- Genitourinary interventions (uterine fibroid embolization, pelvic congestion syndrome procedures, prostate artery embolization, varicocele embolization)
- Other procedures (vascular access, dialysis access management)
Our faculty provide advanced image-guided therapies across multiple premier clinical sites:
- Keck Hospital of USC
- USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center
- USC Arcadia Hospital
The successful candidate will contribute to clinical excellence, education, and research, shaping the future of Interventional Radiology at USC.
Position Requirements
- Board-certified (ABR) or equivalent in Interventional Radiology
- Fellowship-trained or completed an Integrated/Independent IR residency
- Eligible for an unrestricted California medical license
- Expertise in various IR procedures
- A commitment to trainee education and mentorship
- A strong interest in clinical research and scholarly activities is desirable
